I love coffee, I love tea...
I bloomin' love the food and drink scene in Perth. That said, TPT is very much a pottery painting studio, rather than a pottery painting cafe, so we don't serve anything here for customers (well, apart from the occasional pot of tea on a chilly day). There are a few reasons for this... 1) Space (TPT is rather cosy and jam-packed as it is) 2) Cost (I could buy a LOT of pottery for the cost of a coffee machine) 3) I am rubbish at making coffee & really loathe cleaning my own ki

What a difference a Year makes
So The Painted Teapot is now One. And, gosh, we're enjoying its growth. This time last year, TPT has been open for just a couple of weeks and, after months and months of plotting and planning, late nights setting the studio and waaaay too much fudge and cake at the opening party (thanks @seiveandstone!), I was mainly trying to get people to actually come in to the shop and then spending a lot of tie explaining what on earth Paint Your Own Pottery was. Pink Ribbon Breakfast
A huge thanks to all those who have supported TPT's Pink Ribbon Breakfast & Raffle as part of October's Breast Cancer Awareness month. These are the mugs painted by those who came to the Breakfast. Not only do they look fabulous, but it has been touching to see the thoughts behind each design - sadness and strength all through the room. It is always a privilege to be able to use TPT's position as a small business in Perth to help bring the community today for a good cause. #s
