2 Day Workshop 12th & 19th November - Pottery Painting + Candle Making

Bespoke Blends and The Painted Teapot are collaborating to bring you the ultimate custom candle making workshop. This two-part workshop will be spread over two evenings on 12 Novemeber 2020 and 19 November 2020. During these two evenings you will be walked  through the arts of pottery painting and candle making.

End result?

You will leave the second workshop with two handpainted candle containers filled with your own peronally selected scented (or unscented) soy candles.

The Vibe

These workshops will be hosted at The cosy studio at The Painted Teapot. Tickets are limited to ensure an intimate and relaxed group atmosphere. During both evenings there will be complimentary bubbles, soft drinks and a selection of nibbles available throughout the workshop to ensure that your inspiration is well nourished.

12 Novemeber 6pm - 8pm

The evening will kick off with glass of welcome bubbles or soft drink as you browse the pottery selection. You will first select your two pottery pieces to paint. There will be a range of pottery pieces availyable which are an ideal size and shap for the candle making workshop. You will be able to select two pieces to paint and turn into candles. Kalpanie will guide through the essentials of pottery painting and show you techniques and ideas to to inspire you masterpieces.

19 Novemeber 6pm- 8pm

Cue the bubbles! On the second evening workshop Jane, from Bespoke Blends will outline basics of candle making. You will learn about the benefits of aromatherapy and the science of combining essentail oils, natural soy wax and cotton wicks to create your very own hande made candle.

Important Info

Although The Painted Teapot boasted a large variety of pottery there will be handpicked range of containers pre selected for the candle making workshop. This range of pottery will be carefully chosen to ensure that they are the perfect shape and size for your candles and to ensure that your candles can set and be ready to be taken home at the end of the second workshop.
